Still do not understand how to restore my license

I am told to find a restore code in the email from J River, but if that means the original message years ago, it is gone together with my recently deseased computer. Is there another way?

what version did you buy?

did you ever go to the restore page?

there you can have the code sent to you if it was MJ8 or newer.

read the License help file for the restore link
