Restore Problem
« on: April 24, 2005, 12:12:15 am »

I purchased Media Center 10 a while ago, purchased a new laptop and downloaded Media Center version 9.1. I then attempted to register Media Center on said laptop by copying and pasting my license code into the registration screen. However, I received an error stating that my license code is invalid.

Is a new license code required? If so, how do I obtain a new one?

Please help. The e-mail I registered with is poeticheart26@hotmail.com

If you purchased v10, then your license code is only good for v10. It is only good for the version you purchased.

Install version 10 on the laptap and then "restore". [Options>Install License>restore from file(where you should have stored your 'restore' file) or from internet (use up a 'restore')].
