MC11 picture thumbnail updates
« on: April 26, 2005, 06:56:53 pm »

MC11 v249 still doesn't immediately update the picture thumbnails after an image rotation.  It used to do this but stopped about 20 revs ago.  To get the thumbnail to update, I have to select a different playlist and then reselect the one I was using when I rotated the image(s).  Is there a reason for it not to update immediately or is it just way down the ToDo list??

I get this too but sometimes it works okay. Kind of a pain but this program still rocks.

Can you isolate how to reproduce this?  We've been unable to see it on our computers.

Thanks.

Whenever I have photos that I have imported which need to be rotated, I use the "images...rotate left" menu command after right clicking on the image.  After it completes the operation, the thumbnail displayed is not refreshed to show the rotated version.   The view I'm using in this case is the "Auto Smartlists (video & image)...Task -- Recently Imported".  I can mark a number of image thumbnails at once and none of them are changed to show the updated image rotation until I click on a different smartlist and then click back on the one I started with.  Scrolling the images out of the view and then back into view doesn't update them either.  Hitting F5 to refresh doesn't make them change either.  Does this give you enough to reproduce the problem?  Is there some kind of settings I should investigate?
