« on: May 16, 2005, 04:01:13 pm »

The Shortcouts
German file = Alt+D does not function although in language.txt the correct entries is.

&File
&Datei

this applies to function to all main menues it the English terms used
these English file = Alt+F

Function desire direct from the Playliste burn like that as it also with the direct play already is.
That would be very practically windows media more player can this e.g..

Unfortunately still errors with burn from audio CDs.
Starting from that 7 or 8 TRACKS arise jumps or misfires.
For me straight this function is very important in mc.
The error arises neither in a MC10 installed at the same time,
Nero, Media Player 10, or other CD Burntools.

Try this:
Uninstall MC10
Reboot
Re-install MC11

If the uninstall, reinstall doesn't work, please try a burn with these options:

1. use a plain wav format file (convert it first)
2. choose a low burn speed such as 4X
3. uncheck "write cd-text"
4. uncheck "apply cross-fade and DSP..."
5. burn the same file 10 times on the CD

If this works, we can work backward eliminating variables. If this doesn't work, I'll have to think some more based on your system info.

Thanks.

Test:1
Audio CD 10x of the same TRACK, with 4x speed, no CD text, pure Wav file.  Result CD runs cleanly by all TRACKS is ok.

Test:2
Audio CD 10x of the same TRACK, with 8x speed, with CD text, pure Wav file.  Result CD runs cleanly by all TRACKS is ok.

Test:3
Now an audio CD from 22 differently TRACKS in the mp3 format with 8x speed with dsp and CD text burned goes through also perfectly.

On cdrw so far no problems I will burn and will test the same composition now times on cdr.  It probably interprets some thereupon it at my Denon Hifi CD Player lies.

One more question. When you burn with the other software (MC 10, Nero, etc.) with full speed, does it play ok on the Denon CD player?

That is something which I also does not understand with nero can I with 32x subject burn and the CD runs perfectly!  Question burns mc11 differently than nero and CO.

The only thing I can think of is that Nero may be using a larger write buffer during burning and the "burn-proof" feature of the drive may not be used as often. It's possible the Denon player is not good at handling the "burn-proof" boundaries on the disk. This is just a guess.
