2 sec gap between tracks

Why doesn't MJ automatically add the correct no of  2 sec gaps to the total playing time when compilling a cd for burning?

I thought it did. Seems like there was a big discussion about that not too long ago and they fixed it.

Well it's not fixed on mine. I'm using version 8.0. Any good ?
