Find & Delete Empty folders
« on: May 19, 2005, 01:08:59 pm »

Hi,

A badly needed feature in MC is an auto "Find & Delete Empty folders" within a specifiable root folder. I just did a "Rename Files from properties and MC again left a bunch of empty folders everywhere. Who knows how many are lurking around on my drive at the moment.

Also, as a sidenote, Rename files from properties, does what it says on the box, but if I were a new user and I were looking for a way to move files, there is know way I would guess that this feature would be the one I needed. I recommend calling it "Move/Rename files" or "Move/Rename files from properties".

Look for hidden files in those folders.

Maybe, in the future, MC could disregard files like thumbs.db...? Then it should be easier to maintain.
