« on: May 23, 2005, 06:24:57 pm »

hi there...

i wonder if it is possible to stop mc from making this terrible "cklick" sound when it changes to the next track. this destroys everything of a good cd.... is there a way to turn it off? perhaps i'm just too stupid to find the switch....thanks....

That's a Windows sound.  Try control panel, sounds and look for something like "open file".

Not sure what view you are in, but if using Theater View, delete the sound associated with "Windows Explorer/ Start Navigation".  This was doing the "clicking" for me as explorer clicked each time the bottom pane changed (each time the track changed).

As Jim Said, You'll find this under Control Panel / Sunds & Audio Devices and the "Sounds" tab.
