Right Click on the MC window select audio/Video options, then choose
Subtitles.

Translation to Spanish: Derecha Clic en la ventana de MC selectas el audio/Video, entonces escoge los subtítulos.

That works only for DVD videos. For video & separate subtitle files a third party filter is needed for showing the subtitles in MC.
