2 Second Gap

Help!!!!!  I cannot uncheck the "2 second gap" between tracks.  It is "greyed out."  I downloaded the ASPI layer from Adaptec and ran the ASPICHK to make sure it is installed properly but I still can't get rid of the 2 second gap.

Can someone please help???
