Handheld path error
« on: June 22, 2005, 07:34:27 am »

I originally reported this in the 298 thread, but since it still exists in 299 I'm adding the requested info here.

I reported:

One minor bug in 298. When I select my handheld from the devices item in the tree, the Handheld Path shows up as "K:\Music\\K:\Music\" instead of "K:\Music\" which is what it is set to and correctly is displayed in the Handheld settings window.

To which SteveG asked:

I cannot replicate this. What device do you have? I presume you are using the Tools->Options->Handheld->Configure drive
setting, correct?  Did you browse to K:\Music or did you manually enter it?

My answers are:
1. I have a Cowon iAudio M3 (USB HD based audible player).
2. Yes, I'm using that setting.
3. I believe I browsed to it, but I don't remember for sure. Actually, I'm pretty sure I did since that text box appears to be readonly, I can't type into it. I do know that my setting has a trailing backslash, I don't know if that matters.
4. When I first start the sync the Handheld Path is blank, if I go to another list and then back to the Handheld then it is populated with the incorrect, "K:\Music\\K:\Music\" path.

This is fixed in the next build.
