Audio books
« on: June 20, 2005, 06:24:48 am »

I have a small selection of audio books on CD which I have imported into MC (ver 11).

For normal music I have the default cross fades set with a short gap between tracks. Obviously for an audio book, a zero gap and no fade is required.

Is it possible to set this for just audio books and not music?

TIA

It would be nice to be able "stamp" an album or audiobook to play gapless instead of having to manually configure MC. Sounds like something MC could do...since they are THE best! Alt-M sets playback to alternate settings which you can define as gapless. It would be nice to be able to set the Remote Wonder with a crtl+M shortcut but RW Key Factory is working strange lately; works better w/o any plugins as Marty said.

You could explore the options for alternate mode playback under options/playback.

Use the alt key with the play button to play back with these settings.

Thanks both. I came across the most effective option on the ipod lounge forum. Import using iTunes and you can join all the tracks on a CD, removing the track gaps.

Thanks for responding.
