download manager

downloading useing downloadmanager and seems very slow from last time i used it[ couple years]

current bandwidth 8kb
downloadspeed 4.9\5.1
is this normal?
Anysuggestions welcome

windows 98se
pent 111==804 mhz
mc version 10.0.155

Try updating to the current version:  10.0.173

i have sympatico high speed?,have noticed server is droping connection ===maybe that is problem

"Sympatico" in any of the four provinces it serves should be connected at 3 Mbps.
You should be getting download speeds of around 300k if the site you're downloading from can send that fast.
Dail-up on the sending end still limits your download to dail-up speeds.
