Restores
« on: June 26, 2005, 07:16:00 am »

Hello,
i've used up all my restores (i've got a lot of trouble with my computer  >:( and I had to restart it often.)
It says that I have 10 restores in a year, but in my memory i purchased it over a year ago, but the restores didn't "restore".
Like I said I have to restart often, do I have to purchase it again ?
Hope you can help me

Do you mean "Reformat" (ie: re-install Windows?) or "restart your computer? You do not need restores after restarting your computer.

When using a restore you should always save the keycode to a floppy or somewhere outside o your computer if you are having problems with your computer. The keycode can be reused as many times as you need for a 14 day period of time before you need another restore.

If indeed you are having to reinstall Windows that often maybe you should have a professional look at your machine. What Windows are you using?

You could PM the J River team with a detailed explanation of the problems you are having and they will consider your situation and help you however they can.

I've cleared your restores (you were due to get one more in August).
