I've had this problem since 7.1a (and it continues with 7.1b, and it may just be a function of the wireless problem mentioned in another thread) where I can't access the the menu for any of my Smartlists without TiVo timing out. I can hit Playlists, and then when I go to SmartLists, it hangs, and then TiVo loses the connection with MC11. I can browse to Audio and Artists, without a problem.

Any ideas?

How large is your library? If you browse the smartlists from Theater View, how long do they take to come up?

Library is about 13,000 files, 66 GB.
Smartlists in theater view take about a second to come up.

In Media Center, click on the "Smartlists" entry in the tree - not the "+" to the left of it, but the entry.
How long does it take to come up? I'm guessing a long time - it's selecting al the files in all the smartlists.

It takes about 4-5 seconds.
I guess I'll stick some of my favorite Smartlists out on the root, so it doesn't take it so long at access. Is that the idea?
