Library browser display problem
« on: July 16, 2005, 03:34:44 pm »

The library browser won’t fill the MC window. The only skin that will is ThunderStorm, and only when maximized. All other skins leave a space on the right side the size of the one of the thumbnail info tab thingy’s no matter what size the window. I’ve installed a couple a dozen MC11 beta’s and only about half displayed a full window of tabs. The last 4 or 5 builds have not.

I can't duplicate this.  Maybe I don't understand.  Can you post a picture?  Thanks.

If you have your own web site or FTP server, you can post it there and then use a link here.

If not, a better description might work.

OK.  I see now.  It's not completely clear that there is room for another tile.

Try dragging the vertical splitter bar that separates the tree from the content window to the left.

Nope, moving the splitter bar or resizing the window always leaves a space on the right.

What happens if you change screen resolution?

I tried 1280x768 no change. I found that the green eye's skin seems to work ok but none of the others I have installed. All of my skins are MC11 skins.

I just noticed something the green eye's skin does that none of the other skins do is when you resize the window to as thin as it will go, ether from the tree seperator bar or the window edge it still shows 2 rows of thumbnails where as all the other skins show one.

So do all your installed skins work the same way as the green eye's does fo me?
All the tabs fill the window no matter what the window size.

They all work as expected.  Here's an example:

Very strange, well it’s a minor thing and I like the green eye’s skin it’s just I like to continuously change the look of things. MC11 otherwise runs perfect on this machine so thank you and congratulations on your official release it’s a job well done.
