MC 11 and iTunes Installed Side by Side
« on: July 27, 2005, 08:42:28 pm »

I am currently transfering all my music to my iPod using MC 11 but i have an iPod photos so i will like to also transfer my pictures. www.apple.com suggest the only way to do this is by using iTunes, if this is the case, can I install iTunes and use it to transfer my photos and not mess up my MC connection?

Thanks

I've been able to do both. The problem can be using iTunes the first time. You have to make sure you set the iTunes music option to manually synch. But you can't set the iPod options without having the iPod plugged in. And the first time you plug it in it starts to synch the music. You may lose all you music that you loaded in with MC.

So it is good to get the iTunes/Photo part working, then load up the iPod from MC.

Good luck

JSmithson,

Thanks for the post. This should be helpful for others.
