clockwork crashes

Everytime I try to manage plug ins (set-up, install a new one etc.) the result is that MJ crashes after two minutes by clock (from 1.50 to 2.10 secons).
It happens only on my desktop computer at home and not in my laptop I use for work, but it is really disappointing. Anybody want to help me?

The data of the desktop are:
Pentium III 600 192mb RAM
OS Win98SE updated with IE6
Soundcard SB Live128

MJ8 versions I tryed with the same resuls: from 372 to 380.

Did you ever install a crack?  That's the behavior you'll get.  Sometimes people get them by installing MJ from a source other than JRiver.

Try a full uninstall, removing the directory and the registry settings.

I'm a registered user.
I try several times to uninstall, clean the registry and reinstall but without any kind of result.
After a while it happens again.
Last time yesterday after a complete Win98 re-install and simply downloading MEskins.
