Every now and then I end up reinstalling media center from scratch, usually down to Windows going bad.
As a result all my settings are lost.
1. It would be nice if i could specify where all the settings are stored preferably in XML/INI format somewhere :-)
That way I could specify that it's stored to a data partition, and wouldn't lose the settings.
2. When Media Center is loaded with Default settings it places files like this
[[Artist]\[Album]]\[Artist] - [Name]
Why you need to know the artist twice is beyond me but there you go.
I have an amazing ability to loose tag info. So I like my file names to have Track Number in them, that way i can always restore tag info from file name/location. Any ho thats not my request (I set my Media Center up to do that).... My request is...
Having succeeded in recording something with the correct Album information but totally lost the track numbers.... it would be nice to be able to get just the track numbers from YADB for a given album...
As it is Media Center replaces all tag info if i ask it too, which means inevitably some incorrect stuff gets placed in there also.
It would be good to lock certain info.
Thats quite a lot of info.... Hope it makes some sense....
Often my feature requests turn out to be features i havent found yet. Let me know
