Audio delay when playing video
« on: August 19, 2005, 12:21:21 pm »

When some of my music videos start there is no audio for approximately 10 seconds.  Yet if I wait for the audio to kick in and rewind immediately then the video and audio start together properly.

I create the music videos two ways.  (1) record off TV using Microsoft Media Center, convert to MPEG2, and cut into individual songs.  (2) rip into VOBs from the 'extras' section of DVDs and rename to MPG.  Both video sources play fine in Microsoft Media Player, WinDVD, and so on.  It appears as the the DVD source causes more frequent problems.

I can post URL to an MPG file if it helps.
