I am wondering why MC writes it's version number into the comments field of the ID3V2 tag, and is there some way to stop this?
I have not encoded any of my files with MC , so I am wondering if this happens just by playing them via MC?
These version numbers are not visible in MC but in some tag editors, ie Tagscanner shows them but Tag&Rename doesn't.
Anyone noticed this? And maybe there's an option I haven't yet found to turn this off? Any ideas please
