zen micro playback error
« on: August 28, 2005, 09:22:06 pm »

I have had my zen micro for almost a year.  Quite often when I transfer a track from media 10 I get a playback error on my zen.  It doesn't seem to matter if it is a track from a cd, or purchased tracks.  I can't seem to figure out a pattern.  I've tried creative's support, but it was absolutely a waste of time.  I keep hoping that the latest update will fix this problem, but so far none of them have. Help, please.

Can you replicate this issue using MC 11? What firmware is on your Micro?

flamingogoddess,

Do the files also fail when transferred with WMP?

Yes, they do.  I am at such a loss.  My daughter has the zen micro and she has the same issues.  Her firmware is not the same as mine, but I have had this issue since I bought my player in December of 2004.  As I said,  I contacted Creative very early on, but they were of no assistance whatsoever.

If you can, emai me one of the failing files and I can try to make some sense out of what is wrong.
