That it open a dialog in the same directory that the file belongs to rather than the last directory for which it was used. Makes it quicker to add album art to the music files, instead of having to navigate to the desired folder and then adding image to file.

Album art is usually stored in the same folder as the music is anyways.

Does anyone see any problems with this idea compared to the way it is now ?

After that we got some new cover art functions like the option for saving in the file folder, but this didn't change.

That is a "no brainer".  I simply don't know why MC can't automatically add any "Folder.jpg" image it finds into the file.
