MC11 evolution for large MP3

>> French:
Question au développeurs MC11:

You have all in your library of the albums on 1 files MP3 (broad MP3) which you cannot refer like an album with all its titles. The only known solution is to cut file MP3 in several tracks, but that this fact manually and it is too long like work.
What it would be necessary for MC11:

1. MC11 should answer this type of disadvantage by proposing a tool to cut files MP3 in automatic mode by detection of the white.

Or the other solution which I prefer:

2. One could also ask MC11 to call upon same file MP3 by defining the position in the file to him.
E.g.: 1. titre1 artist album toto.mp3 (beginning)
        2. titre2 artist album toto.mp3 4:00
        3. titre3 artist album toto.mp3 9:25
        4. titre4 artist album toto.mp3 14:59
        5. titre5 artist album toto.mp3 20:05

Thank you to say to me what think you? And if you intend to study one from the solutions or both.

MP3 cutting is never perfect for various complex technical reasons. An integrated lossless frame based MP3 cutter would be good for various materials, like the users' own recordings, but not for cutting MP3 encoded Audio CD image files gaplessly.

MC11 can play individual album tracks by using CUE sheet files.

Alex

Thank you for your councils... files CUE, I did not know that they were used for that. A question about these files CUE! can one make correspond the fields of MC11 with a file CUE?? Ex. Artist performer, Album, Name, Artist Album, Kind I tested the tools crystalMP3split and Direct WAV MP3 Splitter... BOF: - ( They do not recognize well the white (blank). In case, I prefere solution CUE if one can make correspond fields MC11

MC11 can read the Artist, Album and Name field information from cue files. If the MP3 file has the Date (year) and Genre tags MC adds also them to the library tracks. MC11 does not write information back to the cue files. The changes made with MC11 are kept only in the database.

Here is an example of the CUE file text:

Quote
PERFORMER "Pink Floyd"
TITLE "The Dark Side Of The Moon (SACD)"
FILE "Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon (SACD).mp3" MP3
  TRACK 01 AUDIO
    TITLE "Speak To Me"
    PERFORMER "Pink Floyd"
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
  TRACK 02 AUDIO
    TITLE "Breathe"
    PERFORMER "Pink Floyd"
    INDEX 01 01:08:26
  TRACK 03 AUDIO
    TITLE "On The Run"
    PERFORMER "Pink Floyd"
    INDEX 01 03:57:05

etc...
