I purchased the upgrade and got the key.  When I start MC11 it says I am using the trial version.  I used one of my restores.  In MC9 I had a large audio library of mp3 files.  MC11 library search feature finds all my .jpg files and none of my mp3 files.  What's going on here?

Where Were\Are Your MP3 Files?

Did You Look For Them Using Windows Explorer?

Are They Still there?

When Importing, Did You Make Sure File Type "MP3" Is Checked?

My mp3 files are in 'My Music'.  Inside 'My Music' are folders by artist name. They are all there and other players can play them OK but when I navigate to the individual file with MC I get a message that it is having trouble playing the file and that I should check the path.  It also gives messages about not being able to download plugins due to 'cannot connect' even though I am connected to the Internet at the time.
I tried to connect to the URL that MC11 is using to download plugins and got a JRiver page which said it could not find that page.  It appears that MC11 is using a bad URL.

sounds like you may have other problems

i think i would "Clear" The Library.

uninstall mc9, mc11

reinstall mc 11

and re-import

it may have something to do with upgrading from mc9 to mc11

since there was old links in mc9

you will lose your playlists etc... but it should be clean
