YADB
« on: October 02, 2002, 12:44:18 pm »

Just to try it out, I put a CD in (first time in months!) my computer and scanned for info from YADB.

But it seems that YADB is like a secret...are there any way to access YADB except via the CD player?

Can someone tell me everything about it, since it's an very interesting project you have going on JRiver :)

Tried something else...namely putting a complete unknown CD in..and guess what? It was already in the DB!!! Surprised, yes. Impressed, YES!

I mean, have any of you heard of the band Mobile Mob Freakshow? Or their album Deathtripp 2000? For your info, this is a VERY local band in Sweden, I think the album was printed in max 1000 ex.!
Anyway, this meant I didn't have the chance to see any interface for YADB :(
Now there are duplicates (I guess I pressed one button too many) and I wonder if there's a way to remove the dupe one...

zevele,
WOW! It's a small world...:)
Even though they're disbanded, I meet most of them, especially the drummer, he's an old childhood friend of mine,  now and then...I'll make sure to tell them about you!
Any other bands you've heard about? Driller Killer, Redrum...?

I have a lot of sweeden bands but more in the garage style.
Like  Nomads,Watermelon men,Hellacopter,Back Door Men,Wylde Mammoths and many others.
Also Psychotic Youth,Lucky Seven and Union Cardive...{?]- before Soundtrack Of Our Life

Look like Sweden is home to  half of the good bands on earth
