iPod synch issue
« on: October 06, 2005, 04:47:01 pm »

I am using 11.1.31 with a 60gb and when I right click on ipod and select synchronize the program freezes up and i am unable to do anything.  Even if I let it sit for a few minutes or so I am never able to click on synchronize and select my playlists that I want to synch and I am not able to get it to start synching.  I tried to initialize the ipod and still was unable to get it to synch.  Any ideas?

Did you try dragging files to it (no synch)?

Did you try setting your synch to a playlist with a small number of files?

Yep. Tried both....neither worked.  I uninstalled and reinstalled and the same thing happened.

Using Windows Explorer, remove the itunesdb file from the iPod.

Same thing happened.  As soon as I right click on the ipod and try and click synchronize the whole thing freezes up.

11.1.31 has issues in regards to Portables apart from iPod due to some restructuring of the Device code. Please look for a build next week that should resolve those.
