OT: iPod Garage Sale?
« on: October 19, 2005, 12:04:18 am »

Hi Folks,
I've got a one month old 60 GB color and a two year old 40GB b&w.
They've been very, very good to me, but those skinny new model is looking pretty nice...

How much should I sell them for?
Will they fetch a decent price?
What's the best place to sell them?
I have no idea how to go about this, any advice/war stories?

Thanks!

I would check on ilounge.com, in the forums, for advice about this. I'd hope you'd still get a decent price for the color iPod, but I doubt the B&W is worth much in today's market.

They renamed themselves recently. I think it's a digital lifestyle thing.

Thanks, I'm too lazy to create a new account over there, though. I think I'll try around $290 for the 60 GB and $150 for the 40GB.

Actually Apple decided that anyone besides them using the iPod name had to stop.  I guess they didn't like all the free promotion. ?
