I'm Confused, There's a thred about the new version of MC (MC12) and what we'd like to see in it. But Mc11 is finished. The next version, as i understand it is MC11.1, is that the new MC12? Are our wants and desires for this program going to be encorperated in this newest version?
If so, here's what I want:
MC to be able to rip DVD's
In video library, it would be nice to be able to see a movies cover art, click on it and be able to see a synopsis, & cast info.
A cast info field.
MC to allow some sort of tagging, or file association for video files so that when streamed on the server, clients can view the cover art, notes and artist (i use this field for cast info)
Better more accurate importing of video files.
When converting files, Mc dosen't currently delete the old file. it should or atl least ther should be that option.
Faster Ripping & encoding.
More functionality for Clients using the Media Server. being able to burn cd's, sync portable players, and Edit playlists (The new edited playlist should only be saved on the client it was made on, the playlist on the server stays as is, unless new playlist is exported to it)
Have a way to export MP3's to portable players at the same volume.
