Hi all,

I have a DSM-320 with firmware 1.05ca (Latest Canadian Version) and can not make it work with MC11.
The DSM-320 will not detect MC11 and vice versa.

The DSM-320 is working fine using the "Windows Media Center" server and with the server software that came with the DSM-320.

I am running the system under Windows XP pro SP2 and uses a LinkSys wireless-G system.
MC11 is the latest 11.0.316 version (Free Trial).


Under Plug-ins/UPnP Server

If I set it to Automatic Detection, and do a "View all Servers" on my DSM-320 unit, I get:

Now, under UPnP Server Options, I have:

Specify IP Address - unchecked
Warn on unrecognized NOTIFIY - checked

Also tried turning off Windows XP's firewall and same results...


Is it that the software isn't compatible with the Canadian version of the DSM-320 (1.05ca firmware)?

Is the problems with my LinkSys wireless-G system?
(Works ok with DSM-320 server software and Windows Media Center)


I have search the treads for DSM-320 1.05ca issues and found that user "sschotanus" had the same problems with no answers.

Please help solve this issue.
