Can I move m4b files form original PC
« on: October 15, 2005, 09:10:13 am »

Hope one of you can Help,

I purchased some audiobooks from Itunes using my Laptop (m4b format). They play in both Itunes and MC11 on my laptop. However I have copied the files to my main music server in the house and they wont play in the same version of MC11. I dont have I tunes on my media server so have not tried to play them.

I susspect this is some Itunes copy protection, any ideas how to get them to play in a second MC11.

Cheers

Ok I have found the answer,

Load Itunes onto the second PC and play the track, Itunes will prompt for you Istore username and password. Once supplied the track is authorised to play on that PC as well as the original. You can have the track on a total of 5 pcs.

Hopes this helps others

Lets Hope I am not taking to myself but I have found another problem.

I installed Itunes and I can now play the files through MC11 BUT they will only play to the first zone on my multi zone system. All other tracks are still playing across different zones.

Any Clues
