Huh? What are we talking about here?

Look at topic about 11.0.315, that version was calles 11.0.315.0 by an error.

John, thanks for explanation about my question in old topic 11.0.315 (cannot say thanks there cause it's closed already).

Hey guys - the new build is working great on x64 for me, except for one bug I 've just discovered this morning.

I hooked up my Lite-On USB burner to try burning a copy on the fly with Nero and it worked good so then I wanted to play a JJ Cale cd on one drive and have MC rip Sweetheart Of The Rodeo off the Lite-On.

Three problems:

1. With playbakc started on one drive, if you start the rip one the other it will kill the playback and continue the rip.

2. If I select one cd to rip, MC keeps adding all the files on BOTH cds to the ripping list. You have to manually highlight all the files on the cd and choose rip; even then, I did have the rip window report 11 files to rip, only to have it try to rip all tracks on both cd's-this happend last rip, manual load of the files is working correctly but it was buggy for me initially.
3. Yikes, just popped in a cd and had turned on AUTO-RIP. The idle disc on the idle cd player has had its tracks added to the rip, they are currently pending as the first cd is ripped.

thanks,
JC

I have a smartlist for songs with missing cover art. If I select the whole list and let MC download the images it shows "not responding" in the task bar after a few images and I have to kill the process.

#2
Split view screens are not saved correctly. My first view points to playing now und my second view shows the library. After restarting MC the playing now is in the second view and the library is on top in the first view.

yeh why does downloading cd cover art freeze the entire program?  seems slightly unnecessary considering the simplicity and low cpu usage of the task.  couldn't you just run the cover art part of the program as a separate thread?

Since build 303 all NetRemote users experience a crash when closing MC by closing NR Media Bridge.  Apparently this is due to a bug with the COM object in MC.  This is a reasonably big impact because there is quite a large MC/NR community building up and many are new users so it doesn't look good when MC crashes all the time when closed.  Any chance of a fix?

This is by design and mentioned many times. Maybe in 11.1

Just found a bug in MC's cover art retrieval.

Any artist named with & will not be correctly submitted for art search. Bob Marley & The Wailers gets submitted as Bob Marley, The Wailers. The album art is correctly retrieved only when using "and". I tend to use & because it's faster to type and shortens the length of filenames.

Also hoping you noted my post on the major ripping bug when one has two drives hooked up to the PC. If not I can dig up my post and email it you; it's a major bug.

thanks,
Jon C.

Ever since this latest build MC crashes when I plug in my iPod. Am I the only one having this problem? I get the "fatal error" message that wants to send MS and error report.

Your database is corrupt on the iPod.  Try renaming itunesdb on it.

Start a thread on the Portable Devices board here if you need help.
