How do I burn a photo playlist
« on: October 14, 2005, 06:32:36 am »

Once again How do I burn a photo playlist to a cd so it stays in the order I have it and plays in the order I have it. Most agravating thing about this program is it does not keep playlists in the same order when you burn them. Need this disk for a birtday party this morning.

What are you going to play the CD with?  A hardware player or MC?

Players sometimes play in alphabetical order.

CD burning has some options you could explore.

The order on the burned CD has nothing to do with this program - it's windows.  On a data cd windows always puts files in alphabetical order.  I've never used MC to burn photos but i have used for MP3 discs where the prinicpal is the same. Look in the burn options for file naming rules and look for an option called 'prefix filename with sequence number' or something similar.  that will mean the first file will be named 001... the second 002... etc so they will be in the order you need.

I was going to play it with a dvd player but it won't stay in order played on my computer in MC or other programs either. Anyway we had the big party for my wife who is 60 years old a still looks like 35. It was a big hit despite not being in order. I know you can do it because I did it with another disk for our 40th anniversary but either forgot how or my program changed, By the way how do you post a photo. Iwill show you a couple of the best looking 60 year old women I have ever seen.
