Hi.

This is my first post in this forum, so please forgive me, if things I ask have been discussed already. I have tried to use the search but didn't find the answers.

I'd like to know how the list of videos can be updated automatically if I add/remove files from the directories that I've entered as the base directory.

The way it seems to work now, is that I have to remove the list manually, and then use the "search media" option.

Hi Kralle.  Welcome to Interact.

You can import from Explorer by right clicking on the directory and choosing Media Center / Import.  MC's shell extensions must be enabled in tools/options.

Could you remove files from MC?  Delete removes the library entry.  Shift delete removes the entry and the file.

Kingsparta has a plugin called Autoimport that will monitor directories for new files and add these to the library.

I use this to monitor the directory where I record TV programs into so that I can play tem back through MC11.

The plugin doesn't automatically delete the files whenif I delete them outside MC, so this you still have to do from the MC interface.
