RME and ASIO
« on: October 25, 2005, 11:26:30 pm »

I have been using MC10 for some time connected to a RME DIGI 96/8 PAD.  I run through a Toslink to a DAT and use standard wave out for audio and ASIO for movies which allows tranmission of AC-3 and DTS formats.  I recently had a hard drive failure and had to install a new drive.  Now, I can not for the life of me get the ASIO to transmit the DTS single to the decoder.  Everything is stereo.  Playing a DVD direct or files though the DVD software register DTS fine.  It is only through MC that it has stopped working.  Is MC10 not recognizing the ASIO? Is there a setting in RME that I missed?  Any help would be greatly appreciated

Problems went away when I went to DVDmax.  In fact don't even have to use ASIO anymore just SPDIF and the decoder does its job
