any chance there's a DSP/plugin to stream from MC to a shoutcast server?

i'm using a linksys medialink, (why indeed! 'cos it's the only one available so far with it's own speakers), but it doesn't work with MC's uPnP server (or just about anything really).

currently i use winamp with the shoutcast DSP to stream to my shoutcast server, and out to the linksys, which is the ONLY way i've found - and i've tried them all- of being able to just play a few hours music on the thing without it hanging/crashing/hourglassing etc. winamp's all very well but MC is a just superior in everyway so it'd be nice to be able to "standarize" on it.

I think shoutcast is a bit dated now days and not even supported since like 3 versions

i think pod casting will be supported in the future

Maybe shoutcast itself is more or less (out)dated, but icecast for example is still developing ... I know of foobar2000 plugins and winamp plugins ... but no media center plugins

There's no actual plug-in for MC, but streaming through a Shoutcast server is possible:
