run alpha and stable on same os?
« on: November 08, 2005, 09:57:26 pm »

hey i was wondering if it is possible for me to install the stable mc11 in a separate folder and then just run that whenever i want to transfer files to my zen.  this is getting annoying not being able to do it, but i enjoy being an active part in the development of the software i use daily.

so is it possible?  or does mc use shared files and such?

I asked the same question a while back and was told no.
11.1 will replace 11.0.

I asked the same question here: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=29939.0.

I am still wondering how I could test MC11.1 on my networked PCs. The problem is that after making library changes there is no way back to 11.0 without losing the changes. I would very much like to have an intermediate reasonably stable 11.1 build that I could use without problems.
