Problems restoring
« on: November 22, 2005, 10:11:58 am »

I had the thirty day trial (which expired before 30 days was up, actually). Then I paid the $40 and purchased the product.  I used the access code I was given, but the media center was never restored.  It is still inactive and won't let me in.  I tried restoring three more times, and though my "install key" emails keep registering that I have used yet another restore (so that I only have 7 out of 10 left), my media center is still not working, and the email says it should have happened automatically.  What do I do?

Don't worry about the restores.  We can fix that.

What happens if you execute the Install Key that is included in the e-mail?  It has an extension of .mjr.

Save the Install Key to any location, then click on it.

Details about licensing are here:

Okay, I used the install key.  I typed in my code.  It said it should have installed automatically, but then a little box pops up telling me my license has expired and asking if I want to restore.  If I click yes, it takes me back to the place where I put in my code.  Then I get the same pop-up again.  It never installs automatically and never registers that I have just restored.
