Clicking between songs

OK, here's a real stupid question:
How do you turn off the clicking in between songs?

What version of MC?

It's a Windows sound.
Windows Control Panel/Sounds/ something about file change

I had the same problem. It was internet explorer sound for the "refresh" button (the track info page was refreshing!) I turned off all system sounds - i couldn't be bothered to find out which one exactly it was - but it's def in control panel -> sounds! ;)

Still looking for a solution to get rid of the clicking noise in between songs using XP media center and MC 11. Can anyone help?

Check the navigation noises.  It's probably from a Track Info page you're displaying in MC's Playing Now.
