MP3 Pro Support
« on: September 27, 2002, 08:17:31 am »

What are the plans for MP3 Pro support for batch encoding from MP3 to MP3 Pro? Also, what are the plans for a MJ MP3 Pro player plugin?

Thanks, loving this thing, moved from Muzicman.

:D I just converted some songs from MP3 to MP3 Pro with Nero and they played no problem on MJ. The problem with Nero is that you can only convert the songs in one folder at a time.

This would take me some time with my collection.

If this is something easy to do with MJ or a plugin, this might help market share for MJ.

Other input?

encoding mp3 to mp3 pro would result in low quality audio.

not sure why anyone would ever do this.

now encoding from CD to Mp3 pro will result in better quality than what your talking about doing.

MP3pro has poor quality compaired to standard MP3 VBR High.

unless poor quality is what your looking for when playing back on a quality system.

it will sound ok on a portable handheld mp3 player.
