ACC?

Is there a plug-in for ACC format that would allow me to use ACC on my Ipod?

There is no plugin for aac like those for mp3, ape, etc. But aac (m4a, mp4) files can be played in Media Center's native playback engine by means of DirectShow filters. Once you install necessary DirectShow filters, it should work (including using it on iPod).
