.TS file support?

I gather .ts files (MPEG-2 Video Transport Streams) cannot be imported. Are there any plans for this in the future?

Excellent! Being able to import and play my .ts DTV captures thru MC would be a fair compromise for not yet supporting my tv card  ;)
