MC finds music in Zen Micro where there is no music?
« on: January 29, 2006, 04:33:28 am »

That is, I just started fiddling with my new Zen Micro, trying to transfer music via MC. Two days ago, I seemed to be able to do this by clickanddrag from MCs playlists to the device recognized in the left pane. Then I removed all tracks and started the process over again, only to find that when I click "Creative Zen Micro" in the left panel, there are still 64 tracks left in Zen Micro, although neither WIndows Explorer or Creative Organizer are able to find these tracks. If I open the Zen folder in MC, the subfolders "Music" and "Playlists" are also empty.
Any hints of how I may get rid of this?
Also, if there are any other Zen/Creative users out there, what is the best way to proceed to get your files transferred?

TIA,
ole k

Thanks a lot for your reply. I guess you made the playlist in MC, but where/how did you add the sync/remove with that playlist (also: where is this procedure described in the Help feature or elsewhere)?

Since my first post, I've tried adding even more files, that just show up in the MC pane, but not elsewhere. One of my main problems now is how to remove those . . ?

Options -> Handheld -> Sync Mode -- Playlists

Mark the playlist you want to sync, for me it's the one called "Zen Micro"

Advanced Options: Mark the "Delete from handheld..." option
Now the playlist called "Zen Micro" in MC will always be the songs on your Zen

Simpel!

EDIT: You also need to have the "Get player stats..." checket
