Hi,
I have been playing with Media Jukebox for a little while to find out if this will be my player of choice.
So far it has been pretty good, but I hit a few road blocks.
I am using Glissando as a front end, and the reason why is to be able to control my "jukebox" from anywhere in the house. So far, that works fine.
What I want to do is available on winamp but does not seem to be available on MJ.
I want to be able to start multiple instances of MJ and "attach" each of those instances to a different sound card. This way I could start Glissando with the IP address of the MJ at port X on soundcard 1 so my wife could listen to Jazz in the living room. I could start another session of Glissando with the same IP address and at port Y this time (second instance of MJ) using sound card 2 so I could listen to Soft Rock in my screened porch at the same time.
Is this something feasible? Is this something that is coming out soon if it's not feasible now?. Before spending the money on the actual software (I own way too many software I paid for that I am not using...) I want to make sure I can do what I need this thing to do.
My alternative is Winamp but I don't like the frontend.
Thanks for helping.
