I swear at some point during the evolution of MC it was possible to right click on the icon in the systray and rate the now playing. I'm constantly rating files, and sending them to playlists for organization:

**
***
****
*****

and then later I go back and select all in the appropriate list rate all of them and dump the list.

Is there not an easier way?
