convert/copy from Mp3 cd to wav cd? Is that possible?
« on: February 09, 2006, 09:31:40 am »

Hello there,

I am having trouble with the media jukebox
technology. :(  I have cd's that are in MP3 format. and I
want to convert them to cd's that are Wav format so
that I can play them on the cd player in my car.   I have 2 disc drives on my computer, one is the CDR.

I downloaded the media jukebox which advertises
itself as being able to do this.   I have spent
several hours today and several hours 2 days ago
trying to do this.  not only are the instructions not
clear for a non-computer/music savvy person.  but now
that I understand it better, it still doesn't work.  ?

This is what I did:
-  I placed my cd with the mp3 to copy in my E: drive,
the other cd in my D: drive.
-  I click on cd & handhelds. clicked on E ...
-  when the music showed up,
-  I clicked on part 2, (this cd contains parts 1,2,3)
-  when I click on "convert format" under the tools
bar it says no audio tracks selected.
- If I click select all and  "burn cd" it puts it in
queue but still says no audio tracks selected... when
I click convert.
- if I right click part 2 another window comes up (cd
copy) and it copies static.

Do I have to first download the Mp3 cd to my computer/music before I can make my copy?

How do you use this technology?   In English please
not computer lingo?

Please Help?

answer asap?

Copy the files to your hard disk drive, import the files into MJ.  Select them, then select burn.

Do I use MJ to copy the files into my computer?

or do I just copy them as is?

Copy the files to your hard disk drive, import the files into MJ.  Select them, then select burn.

When do I click the "convert" button on MJ?

If I burn them as is, they will burn as mp3 right?

Thank you for your patience!

You don't convert.  You just burn an audio CD and MJ will convert.
