I have three questions that I'm hoping that can answered:

1) I have existing M3U playlists that I've been using with Audiostation and my Audiotron player.  However, I can't seem to import the playlists.  How do I easily import the playlists so that I don't need to re-create them?

2) All my playlists are created using UNC (Universal Naming Convention) format so that they can be play by any device on my network without worrying about drive mappings.  MJ seems to ignore all UNC entries in the playlists.  How can I make it understand UNC?

3) Since I have many playlists and use them from multiple devices, I like to have them up-to-date.  Is there a way to have MJ automatically export the playlists to M3U format upon exiting the program?  Audiostation allows me to do this.

M3U playlists can be imported in version 8.0.  Make sure you have a current version and check the file type when you import.

Export is possible in 8.0, but it is one at a time.   The next version can export all playlists in one operation.

I'm selecting Tools/Import Media then entering the path where the playlists are located and selecting the M3U checkbox in the file types area.  
The results show as follows:

Number of file attempted to import: 41
Number of new imported files: 0
Number of files failed to import: 0

Total number of files: 0

The only thing that happens is a blank playlists called "Mixes" is created.  Multiple "Mixes" will be created each time I try again, but they are always empty.  Instead, it should have created a bunch of playlists with names like "Classical", "Kent's Favorites", etc.
If the M3Us contain a regular path (c:\) rather than UNC, then it imports the song file, but still doesn't create the correctly playlist (just a blank "Mixes").

I'm using demo version of 8.0.  Waiting to see if this works before I purchase the program.

OK, but before the system info, here's an update on my problems:

1) I was able to import/play M3U playlists as long as they are located in my root directory (c:) but if I have them in any subdirectory (and I tried various ones) they won't play or import.  Now that I put them in root, they appear under "Mixes" in my Playlists area.
2) Once they were imported, MJ messed up the path by adding a "c:" in front of the \\machine\sharename\".  So I used the very cool feature of Find/Replace in field Location to fix everything.  

So for now I'm OK, though it took a lot of extra work on my part to do something this simple.  Also, I'm trying to figure out if there's an easier way to copy these playlists to another computer running MJ without going through the same lengthy process.  

Am I the first person to try importing UNC-based M3U playlists?  I can't believe that my computer is somehow causing these types of issues.

You should hit 'em up on this issue for v9. Still in Alpha stages at this point, it may be something they could add as a feature.

So how do we submit bug issues?

I found a workaround, but this is a bug.  I've tested on a second computer and MJ still doesn't like importing M3U playlists if they contain UNC paths unless the M3U files are located in the root directory.

Hasn't anyone else seen this?

Everytime MJ scans my M3U's it just creates blank playlists under the Playlist Group "Mixes".

Not only should it be fixed, but MJ should have some options to create/export playlists automatically and allow user selection if playlists should be created using drive letters or UNC.  Perhaps these items are for version 9.

Who do I give this information to for the bug and the enhancement request?

V9 can export all playlists as m3u files now.  Just a click away.
