I've just upgraded to version 130.  Now it seems that when I rip to mp3, the CD is 'ripped' OK, but when 'Encoding' it just seems to stop.  The Encoding progress never moves onto even 1% and the LAME process runs in task manager for a minute or so and then vanishes.  MediaCenter is still responsive and the rip can be cancelled.  I've tried this on 2 machines and am now back to ripping on a machine that still has version 111 on it (but that can't see the 'library' on the server - see other post).

Any ideas?  Has the LAME encoder changed?  Can I revert the encoder to an earlier version?

I believe we saw this once before when incorrect custom settings were used.  Try testing with default settings.
