I guess this was covered earlier and I missed it, but why is the left-side spectrum analyzer in the Currently Playing window flopped?  Is this for the sake of visual symmetry?

I realize this is just a decorative garnish--audio parsley, if you will--but I think it's really cool and wouldn't be even cooler if all the left-side sound weren't looking as though it was going to come out backwards?  I keep trying to cover my left eye or twist my neck around but nothing fixes it.  Simmilarly, turning the left speaker around fails to conform the sound to the visi.  Please help.

While we're at it, what does this S.A. represent?  Because it doesn't match the S.A. in Visualizations, AFAICT (even if it were un-flopped).

Yes, I thought this was sort of bizarre too.  Every outboard graphic equalizer/spectrum analyer that I've seen has low frequencies to the left, high frequencies to the right.  I hope that the built-in SA (parsley though it may be) can be adjusted to match this standard.

I can't tell if Matt is simply restating jgreen's observation or giving a reason.  Yes, the problem is that high frequencies are on the outside rather than on the right-hand side.  Can this be fixed?

This has become less of a problem ever since I started taping my left eyelid shut.
It actually fits in with other oddities in my life, for example my Citroen and my three-legged dog.  A backwards left-channel spectrum analyzer is something of a status symbol for a man who still wears a "Dukakis" button on his lapel.

put a little drop of glue beside the spectrum display. put a little mirror (10mm*30mm) in a right angel on the drop of glue. if you look from the right side in the right angle, you can see the display of the spectrum mirrored
