Is there anyway to format time?
« on: March 07, 2006, 06:50:35 pm »

One of the text lines i have under my album thumbnails is duration, for example, is there anyway to get the time to read 67:43 instead of 1:07:43?

Thanks

Duration formatting switches to hours after 60 minutes.  This isn't configurable.

Any chance that we could make it configurable in the future?, music cd's are based on minutes,  with the maximum being just shy of 80 mins for an audio disk. I'd rather see 77 mins instead of 1:17:00, just seems more cd based that way.

If we can't configure it, can we slow it down a little? I'm getting too old, too fast.

could you not create a new field like [ALBUMMINS] and in this field would be the mins for the album and then you could use [ALBUMMINS] when ever you wanted album mins?

How does one go about making a field?

I went to options and then library and tried to add in a minutes field modified from the duration field which is length=;duration= but it doesn't do anything.

Once the field is added to the library it can then be picked from the list that can be added to thumbnail text, so that works but the equation for the field is wrong.

Can someone help me write a field that will return minutes instead of hours and minutes, thanks.
