If you rate a track while playing it, the message at the bottom says

Saving Tag Changes (1 Remaining)

If you want to query other files in PN or another view, after highliting them, their space & time will flash very briefly in the status bar and then revert back to the saving tag... message. If you have any pending tag updates, then it's very hard to read this info in time. Only way is to wait for tag update to finish.

I wonder if there could be a slight delay of...3s maybe...before status bar reverted back to the saving... message

I asked for a solution for this all the way through v11 beta testing.

After the saving tag changes message, we're stuck with the 'done saving tag changes' message untill we change views or refresh.

My suggestion was to move the tag saving status messages away over to the right, in an area of their own, leaving the rest of the status bar free for it's regular, more useful, messages.

Any solution that works would be welcome though.

Yeah i remember you mentioning this, and not seeing much response, i thought a simple delay might be easier.
